Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Bank Account Analyser ("the Service") is provided by Crackle AI Limited. The Service enables users to upload bank statement PDFs for automated transaction extraction, classification, and reporting using artificial intelligence.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must:

• Have proper authorisation to upload any bank statements
• Not upload documents containing malicious content
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the Service
• Not share your account credentials with unauthorised parties

3. PII Redaction and Data Responsibility

You are responsible for redacting any personally identifiable information (PII) from bank statements before uploading them to the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, names, addresses, account numbers, sort codes, and any other information that could identify an individual.

The Service processes documents as provided and does not perform PII redaction. Where you upload bank statements containing third-party personal data, you must ensure that you have the appropriate legal basis and authority to do so, and that you comply with all applicable data protection legislation including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Credits and Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Credits are purchased via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. Credit prices are displayed at the point of purchase and may change with notice. Each analysis job consumes one credit.

5. Data Processing

Uploaded bank statements are processed using AI to extract and classify transactions. While we strive for accuracy, AI classifications should be reviewed by qualified professionals. The Service is a tool to assist analysis, not a substitute for professional judgement.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Crackle AI Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded bank statements and extracted transaction data are retained for 90 days after processing, after which they are automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time via your account settings.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
